Happy Couples Say This About Us
A few words from brides and grooms who trusted Ikonica with their wedding photography.

Elle + Patrick
“We chose Ikonica to photograph the most important day of our lives, and we couldn’t be happier! Jackson is a creative genius behind the camera, capturing the perfect shot, angle, moment in an expression that is pure magic. His entire team at Ikonica were a pleasure to work with, from his assistant, to album editors. It really felt like a family at Ikonica and as clients, we always felt like we were taken care of. The photos from our engagement shoot, wedding and maternity shoot blew our expectations out of the water. The quick turnaround time on getting our photos back was also very impressive. We are thrilled with all of our photos and can honestly say everything we wanted was captured in the best light. I look forward to working with Ikonica again!”

Kelsey + Ameya
“We used Ikonica for our wedding photography. We loved working with this incredibly professional & talented team. Our photographer Alex was second to none. We would highly recommend him!”

Ambika + Animesh
“We had Ikonica as our wedding photographers for all three days of our wedding festivities. We knew from the start, when we visited their website, that we loved their work and their style of photography. What attracted us most to Ikonica was how all their pictures had that classic, everlasting look. We loved our pictures and we loved how easy and professional it was working with them. We would definitely recommend them and thank Ikonica for capturing our wedding so beautifully!”
Our Wedding Photography Story
Driven by their love for photography, our wedding photographers care deeply about capturing your day in photographs. By helping you feel comfortable in front of the camera and by keeping things fun and spontaneous, real moments and great pictures happen all on their own. Genuine moments, filled with feeling, are what we think wedding photography should be.
As photographers in Toronto, a richly cultural city, we are fortunate to see weddings of widely varied faiths and traditions. Each has its own distinct symbols and icons: rings, veils, crowns, alters, shrines, important figures like the bride and groom. It is in recognition of the icons of the wedding, in all their forms, that we came to our name Ikonica.
With over a decade of experience, our artists have traveled across Canada for wedding photography in Vancouver, Banff and Calgary. Each of Canada’s regions, with its cities and landscapes add distinct elements to each couple’s wedding story. As photographers, we live to capture their stories. Our work has taken us on assignments to international destinations including New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and Kyoto.
Ikonica has been telling wedding stories through pictures since 2007. Our wedding photographers have won awards, earned numerous accolades and are recognized as some of the best by clients and industry professionals alike.
As photographers, as artists, we at Ikonica want our pictures to stand the test of time, to endure and be ever-lasting. We want our work to move you when you see the photos, every time.
Our photographs have been published in magazines such as WedLuxe, Weddingbells, Toronto Life, Grace Ormonde Wedding Style and Dauphine.

What happens when you give your wedding photographer a little creative freedom?
Stephanie + Colin trusted us to step outside the usual wedding coverage and look for something a little different.
Quiet moments before the first look. Unexpected angles. Reflections. Layers. And a few images that probably wouldn’t have happened without that freedom.
We especially love the final frame — Stephanie + Colin had just been pronounced husband and wife, and one guest may have found the best angle of the day. 😂
We love when couples trust us to create. That’s often when some of our favourite images happen.
What do you think — worth the leap of faith? And which frame is your favourite: 1–10?

And then it was time to make it official.
Elyse and Andrew were married at Our Lady of Grace Shrine at Marylake in King City, and it was such a beautiful setting for the ceremony.
The long aisle. The stained glass. Elyse walking in with her dad. Andrew waiting at the front. A few laughs, a few emotional moments, the rings, the kiss… all the good stuff.
The big moments are great, but we’re always watching for the little looks in between too. Those usually end up being some of our favourite photos.
Which ceremony moment gets you every time — the walk down the aisle, the vows, or the first kiss?

Part 2 of 5: The Buying of the Bride
Before the ceremony, family, music and tradition filled the air.
Victoria and Stjepan honoured the Croatian buying-of-the-bride tradition—a lively celebration filled with tamburaši, cheering, laughter and anticipation, all leading to one unforgettable first look. We loved being able to capture Stjepan’s reaction when he finally saw Victoria for the first time. His expression says everything.
Photographing weddings gives us the special opportunity to experience so many different cultures and traditions. We love seeing how each couple brings their heritage into the day and trusting us to preserve the moments that make their story uniquely theirs.

Part 2 of 3: A castle, a summer garden and a chance to step away from the wedding-day whirlwind for a little while.
Colleen and Jeremy’s photoshoot through the gardens of Casa Loma gave them something especially valuable on such a busy day: a few quiet moments to slow down, reconnect and simply be together.
Of course, Casa Loma has no shortage of epic backdrops—but after photographing weddings here over the years, Ikonica also knows the magical little secret spots tucked away from it all. As we wandered through the quieter garden paths and hidden corners, the schedule faded into the background, giving Colleen and Jeremy a chance to take everything in and enjoy the feeling of finally being married.
The grand views are incredible, but sometimes it’s the quiet, tucked-away moments that mean the most.
Which do you love more—the epic castle views or the hidden garden moments? Let us know below, and follow along for Part 3: the celebration!

Sometimes Plan B turns out to be pretty great. ☔️🥂
Meredith + Philip had planned the loveliest summer dinner outside at Toronto Golf Club—one long table on the lawn, surrounded by greenery and string lights, with everyone settling in for an evening together.
And then… the skies opened. 😂
Not exactly what anyone had ordered.
So the dinner moved inside, everyone squeezed in around the tables, the candles were lit, the wine started pouring—and somewhere along the way the change of plans stopped mattering. There were hugs across the table, glasses raised everywhere, speeches that had people laughing one minute and tearing up the next, and Meredith + Philip right in the middle of all of it looking completely happy.
And then, almost as if the weather decided it owed them one, the rain finally stopped.
We slipped outside onto the golf course just as the sun was dropping and got one of those gorgeous little windows of evening light you simply can’t schedule. 🌅
Rain, sunshine, a last-minute reception shuffle and a room absolutely full of love. Pretty good wedding day, if you ask us. ❤️
Would rain on your wedding day send you into panic mode—or would you just pour another glass of wine and roll with it? 🍷👇

What do you love more — the little wedding details or the candid getting-ready moments?
Elyse + Andrew’s wedding day started in two different places.
Elyse was getting ready at her family home in Vaughan with her bridesmaids and family, while Andrew was over in King City with the guys.
So while one side of the team was photographing the dress, shoes, flowers and all those little details, the other side was catching cufflinks, drinks, and laughs.
Getting ready photos are always some of our favourites because they’re a mix of calm, heightened emotion and anticipation all at once.
And then there was Elyse’s dad seeing her for the first time… 🥹

From the invites and dress that Victoria picked out to sharing bubbly with her mom and sister, the morning was buzzing with excitement for what lay ahead. The chic black-and-white vibe, bright rooms, and genuine family moments gave this day a classic touch.
