Hotel X Persian Wedding

Maryam and Cauveh held their Persian wedding at Hotel X Toronto. Their traditional Persian wedding ceremony was held in the prismatic New Fort Hall. The ornate sofreh aghd, symbolic of a rich and sweet married life together, was decorated with candles, fruits, nuts, mirrors and honey. Beneath the towering glass arches of the room, the sofreh appeared to float on the transparent floors enclosing the archaeological exhibit beneath.

Hotel X is a striking new addition to the array of event venues in the city. Earlier in the day, Maryam and Cauveh put the venue to good use, taking advantage of all it had to offer. Both made their preparations in the spacious suites, then they had their reveal on the balcony of the multi-level rooftop Sky Bar. From there were breathtaking 360 degree views of the city skyline, waterfront, historical Fort York, the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE) and, of course, the iconic CN Tower.

In the evening, while guest enjoyed food, drink and dancing, Maryam and Cauveh sneaked away from the celebrations in the Victory Ballroom, to the High Park Terrace where they enjoyed a moment to themselves and took in the last warm rays from the sun as it set. We couldn’t imagine a more romantic end to the day and start to the night ahead.

Re-live their day with them in this highlight film of their Hotel X wedding.
