There’s something we love about this part of a wedding day. Everyone knows what’s about to happen, but for a few more minutes the bride and groom are still in their separate worlds, getting ready, reading notes, fixing the last details and trying to take it all in.⁠

And then suddenly, it’s time.⁠

This was not your average backyard reception.⁠

For Elyse + Andrew, her family home in Vaughan was completely transformed for the night.⁠
⁠
White-draped tents, crystal chandeliers, mirrored tables, white florals, gold details, lounge areas — and then that ceiling. So much greenery, gold foliage and tiny lights overhead that you basically had to stop and look up when you walked in.⁠

One of the things we love photographing is the space before the guests arrive, because this is when you really get to see how much work went into creating it.⁠

With the “I do’s” behind them, Victoria and Stjepan slipped away to The Ruby Manor for a little time together — and a little fun.⁠

After spending most of the day on their feet, they finally got to sit down, get comfortable and just enjoy being married. Whew! 😅⁠

Between being swept off her feet, stealing kisses, curling up together and simply enjoying that we’re married! feeling, these portraits became less about posing and more about the two of them.⁠

Alka + Amit’s wedding at the Kortright Centre was small, intimate and tucked right into the woods — which made these pre-ceremony moments feel even more special.⁠
⁠
Alka’s red and gold outfit absolutely glowed in the filtered forest light, while Amit looked pretty sharp in green himself. Add in family helping with the final details, a very lively groom arrival, and one last twirl from Alka before heading to the ceremony… and the day was officially underway.⁠

We especially love the little moments between all the celebration — a parent fixing a piece of jewellery, a look exchanged between family, or that quick pause before everything begins.⁠
